On Wednesday 3rd July 2019 (29th Shawwal 1440 AH), the Hilal of Dhul Qa'dah 1440 was not sighted in the UK but it was sighted in Morocco. We have also received a positive sighting report from Morocco Awqaf Ministry (login to view). Therefore, the month of Shawwal 1440 AH will have 29-days and the month of Dhul Qa'dah 1440 AH will start from Thursday 4th July 2019, InShaAllah
Note that Saudi Arabia do not normally make any official Hilal Sighting announcement for Dhul Qa'dah (as they usually follow the Ummul Qura Calendar).

On Sunday 5th May 2019 (29th Shaban 1440 AH) the Hilal of Ramadan 1440 was not sighted in the UK/Morocco region. We have also received a negative sighting report from Morocco Awqaf Ministry (login to view).
Therefore, the month of Shaban 1440 AH will complete 30-days and the month of Ramadan 1440 AH will start from Tuesday 7th May 2019 (1st Tarawih from the night of Monday 6th May 2019), InShaAllah.
Note that Saudi Arabia normally announce the start of Ramadan on their SPA (www.spa.gov.sa) website.

Therefore, the month of Rajab 1440 AH will complete 30-days and the month of Shaban 1440 AH will start from Sunday 7th April 2019, making 15th Shaban to be on Sunday 21st April 2019 (i.e. from the night of Saturday 20th April), InShaAllah.
