Mr Hendrik Stahlberg commented: "The moon was not seen".

Not seen after sunset: On 14 Nov 2023, ICOUK member Eng Qamar Uddin from Knaresborough City in the North Yorkshire County (United Kingdom) mentioned that the sky was Partly Cloudy, the crescent was not seen by Naked-eye.
Eng Qamar Uddin commented: "It was raining most of today (following Storm Debbie), but it stopped before sunset. I was travelling from Harrogate and stopped in a clear field on the way (York Road, A59) to look for the moon. It was cloudy near sunset point so the moon was not seen".

Mr Faruq Bilbe commented: "When I can’t see the sun before it sets, I don’t have much hope of seeing the crescent moon unless the sky clears. This was one of those days when the rain got heavier, and although it was due to stop before moonset, I believe the moon had already dropped behind St Bees's head. I need to find a new location with better views to the south for the winter - in both of my usual towns".
York (New Earswick)

Eng Qamar Uddin commented: "I was planning to travel to a high location with a clear view of the western horizon down to ground level, but unfortunately, the entire Yorkshire region was totally cloudy (as per the UK weather forecast). So, I went to my usual location in York, hoping for a cloud break, but there was no luck. The moon was not seen".

Eng Qamar Uddin commented: "Once again, it was totally cloudy and raining today in Yorkshire, worse than the last 2 days (as per the weather forecast). So, the moon was not seen".
Announcement for start of Jumada Al-Ula 1445 AH
On Tuesday, 14th November 2023 (29th Rabi-ul Thani 1445 AH) the Hilal of Jumada Al-Ula 1445 was not sighted in the UK (Local). Therefore, the month of Rabi-ul Thani 1445 AH will complete 30 days and the month of Jumada Al-Ula 1445 AH will start on Thursday, 16th November 2023, InShaAllah.
