The crescent visibility map below for Safar 1443 shows that the moon will be born on 7 September 2021 at 00:52 GMT/UT, but it will not be visible by the naked-eye anywhere in the UK to Morocco region on that date. However, on 8 September 2021 the moon will be easily visible in most countries of the world. Hence, the month of Safar is most likely to start from 9 September 2021, InShaAllah.

Maulana Abdullah Ahmed commented: "As I was teaching, my son Hafiz Muhammad Daanyaal went and tried to see the Hilal from Scarr End Lane, Dewsbury and he could not see it, as it was cloudy with only a small clear break through the clouds".
Announcement for start of Safar 1443 AH
On Tuesday 7th September 2021 (29th Muharram 1443 AH) the Hilal of Safar 1443 was not sighted in the UK to Morocco region. We have also received a negative sighting report from Morocco Awqaf Ministry (login to view).
Therefore, the month of Muharram 1443 AH will complete 30-days and the month of Safar 1443 AH will start from Thursday 9th September 2021, InShaAllah.
Note that Saudi Arabia do not normally make any official Hilal Sighting announcement from Safar to Shaban (as they usually follow the Ummul Qura Calendar in these months).
