Not seen after sunset: On 13 Jul 2018, ICOUK member Mr Younes Foster from Cornier Lighthouse City in the Jersey County (United Kingdom) mentioned that the sky was Clear, the crescent was not seen by Naked-eye.
Mr Younes Foster commented: "Clear horizon over the sea [but] moon not sighted".
Croydon
Not seen after sunset: On 13 Jul 2018, ICOUK member Shaykh Sulayman Gani from Croydon City in the Greater London County (United Kingdom) mentioned that the sky was Totally Cloudy, the crescent was not seen by Naked-eye.
Shaykh Sulayman Gani commented: "The Hilal had an altitude of 2 degrees. It could not be seen with the naked eye. I observed alone from sunset for about 20 minutes".

Seen after sunset: On 14 Jul 2018, ICOUK member Mr Yusuf Yearwood from Harrow City in the Middlesex County (United Kingdom) mentioned that the sky was Partly Cloudy, the crescent was Seen by Naked-eye and Binoculars.
Mr Yusuf Yearwood commented: "Visibility was just tolerable for naked eye sighting. Myself and Raza Lakhani both managed to see it".

Eng Qamar Uddin commented: "There were about 20 of us who came to observe the hilal in Wanstead Flats following an event in Leyton (East London), but unfortunately there was a thick block of cloud was sitting on the moon position hence negative sighting.".

Shaykh Sulayman Gani commented: "*Hilal sighted for Dhul Qa’dah 1439*; After Magrib Salaah, I made an announcement to encourage the Musalles to join me on a moonsighting expedition to Riddlesdown Common, Croydon. Alhamdulillah we were 5 adults and 2 children. The Hilal was first spotted by Hafiz Abdullah. Then we all sighted it and prayed the Dua. Salaams, Imam Sulaiman".

Seen after sunset: On 14 Jul 2018, ICOUK member Hafiz Dr Ayyub Patel from Cape Town City in the Western Cape County (South Africa) mentioned that the sky was Partly Cloudy, the crescent was Seen by Naked-eye.
Hafiz Dr Ayyub Patel commented: "I am presently touring South Africa. Yesterday I was in Johannesburg and it was cloudy and overcast so nothing was seen after sunset. However tonight it was easily seen after local magrib time and sunset. Note that South Africa is in the southern hemisphere and therefore the new crescent moon is opposite shape to that seen in the UK".
Announcement for start of Dhul Qa'dah 1439 AH
On Friday 13th July 2018 (29th Shawwal 1439 AH), the Hilal of Dhul Qa'dah 1439 was not sighted in the UK/Morocco region. We have also received a negative sighting report from Morocco Awqaf Ministry (login to view).
Therefore, the month of Shawwal 1439 AH will complete 30-days and the month of Dhul Qa'dah 1439 AH will start from Sunday 15th July 2018, InShaAllah.
Note that Saudi Arabia do not normally make any official Hilal Sighting announcement for Dhul Qa'dah (as they usually follow the Ummul Qura Calendar).
